The full name of 3C certification is "Compulsory Product Certification System", which is a product qualification evaluation system implemented by the Chinese government in accordance with laws and regulations to protect consumer personal and national safety, strengthen product quality management, and implement it. The so-called 3C certification is the China Compulsory Certificate system. It should be noted that the 3C mark is not a quality mark, but rather a fundamental safety certification.

The "CCC" certification mark is divided into four categories

The current "CCC" certification mark is divided into four categories, namely:

1. CCC+S safety certification mark;

2. CCC+EMC electromagnetic compatibility certification mark;

3. CCC+S&E safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification mark;

4. CCC+F fire certification mark;

China has implemented the National Compulsory Certification System (CCC) since May 1, 2002. Compulsory certification is implemented for products listed in the "CCC" catalog. If certification is required for products not listed in the catalog, voluntary certification is adopted. CQC voluntary certification marks can be found in the CQC logo management.

For products outside the CCC catalog, the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) has issued the "Catalogue of Voluntary Certification for Electrical Engineering" and related "Implementation Rules for Product Certification".

The mode of CQC product certification is: type testing+initial factory review+supervision after certification. The basic steps of certification include: certification application, type testing, initial factory review, evaluation and approval of certification results, and supervision after certification.
